Workshop Details:

Join Natawnie from Blue Thunderbird Beading for a special evening of beading and creativity in honour of Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

During this guided session, you will:
• Create your own Beaded Orange Shirt Pin
• Learn how to bead the edging of your felt orange shirt
• Learn step-by-step beading techniques and how to assemble your finished pin
• Get creative with your own unique shirt design
• Choose from beads and additional embellishments such as sequins, charms, tufting fur and more

Natawnie will guide you through the process and be available throughout the workshop to help you bring your design together.

Your finished Orange Shirt Pin will be a meaningful handmade piece that you can wear in recognition of Orange Shirt Day and Truth and Reconciliation.

This workshop is beginner-friendly and suitable for all skill levels. Ages 16+.

No prior experience required.
